Religious Freedom PSA

The acknowledgement of faith is not the imposition of it. The United States has a long history of tolerance and acceptance of all religious beliefs, even atheism. The move to purge any acknowledgement of a higher power will always have supporters, and they have the right to advocate their views, but to claim that those views are supported by the Constitution is to seriously misinterpret both our history and what the document itself says.

Faith has played an invaluable role in our nation’s history, from the founding of our nation to the present day. The freedom to believe in God or not, and to choose which religion to follow, is fundamental to our personal liberty. Attempts have and always will be made to remove faith from the public square, but they must be met with even stronger resolve to retain it.
