Rematch

In Maryland, former Republican governor Bob Ehrlich says he will challenge Democrat incumbent governor Martin O’Malley this fall. Ehrlich was elected governor in 2002 (with Michael Steele as lieutenant), but lost to O’Malley in 2006. So this is a rematch, and the third election in a row in which Ehrlich will be on Maryland’s GOP ticket.
