I just want to salute Gary Sinise and the other actors, singers, musicians, the Park Service, PBS, all the military services, and anyone else or any other group (and I know there are many) involved in the magnificent Memorial Day Concert on the Mall in Washington, D.C. It is an extraordinary national event that honors America’s heroes, past and present. Thank you all. (And thanks to my late Grandfather Moe, late Great Uncle Tug, and Dad Jack. They are each a better man than I can ever be.)
