Representative Jim Himes (D., Conn.) is defending Connecticut’s state-run health-care exchange, Access Health CT, on Twitter:
Since opening yesterday, @AccessHealthCT has been visited by almost 80k people and taken 373 applications for health insurance. #dogcanhunt

On the exchange’s launch day, it received 28,000 visitors and accepted 167 applications.
Himes dismissed derision of the number of accepted applications:
In 2 days. This is a losing argument“@estate_fifth: 373 of 80k? #CheckTheDogsPulse @jahimes < #tool @AccessHealthCT”

Critics of @AccessHealthCT are deriding the glitches due to volume and saying too few people signing up. Oh, and socialism.
