Report: Baldwin Out at MSNBC

Actor Alec Baldwin has worn out his welcome at MSNBC after just five episodes following his use of an anti-gay slur.

The New York Post reports that “MSNBC chiefs are not exactly falling over themselves” to welcome Baldwin back after Up Late with Alec Baldwin’s two-week suspension comes to an end this Friday. According to the report, the actor only prepped for his weekly talk show for an hour beforehand and was unpleasant on the set.

Baldwin’s show also failed to live up to expectations by not attracting the type of guests the network had hoped and by delivering unimpressive ratings.

In a Huffington Post op-ed over the weekend, Baldwin suggested that his show may not return after his suspension.
