The Corner

‘Reports of the death of the Democratic Party have been greatly exaggerated.’

Joe Biden, just a little defensive, in St. Paul.

(Don’t worry though, Mr. Vice President, the headlines will report the conservative movement is dead before too long. They often tend to. Especially after elections. Regardless of the conservative showing.)

On a total charm offensive, clearly, Biden announced to Democratic donors in Madison, Wisconsin, last night: ”You are the dullest audience I’ve ever spoken to.”

This, a day after the president of the United States told Democrats to stop “sulking.” I suppose the honey that went with that was announcing that Democrats are, in fact, “better,” but they sure have an interesting way of making friends and influencing people.
