Republican Worries

Via the Plank, I found this internal Republican evaluation of the congressional races. I think it’s a little too pessimistic. I’d move Steele, Corker, Padgett, and Sodrel up a rank, and Allen up two.

One well-known Republican strategist worries about early losses on election night in Indiana, Kentucky, Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania. “We could be down a dozen [House seats] by 9:30 Eastern. If the networks report that the House has flipped, what does that do to Wilson and Pombo and Doolittle and Reichert?” He’s referring to Republican congressmen from New Mexico, California, and Washington state.
