Responding, Again

I would have appreciated an apology from John for clearly misstating my argument.  If I receive that, I will be happy to engage in his cross examination, although I don’t think this is necessarily the time or place.

Beyond that, I will only make one more point here: Furthering my point that John is engaging in an intellectually dishonest straw man discussion about my First Things essay, he quotes this sentence. “Understanding that there is such a thing as evil action proves we are special in the known universe.”  Yet, he leaves out the very next sentence: “Thankfully, one need not have faith to understand that.”  That seems pretty inexcusable to me.
