suppose this is being picky, but Al Sharpton says that ‘after 7 plagues,
Moses led ‘em to the Red Sea.’ There were 10 plagues. Any Bible scholar
knows that. As a preacher and teacher, I know that I should at least read
the passage on which I am preaching. Of course, lazy preachers use their
memory and cover with rhetoric. Getting it right is less important than
getting it over.”
