RFK Jr.’s ‘Vaccines a Holocaust’ Insanity

Talk about anti-science hysteria. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called the measles vaccine a “holocaust.” From the Sacramento Bee story:

When Kennedy asked the crowd of a few hundred viewers how many parents had a child injured by vaccines, numerous hands went up.

“They get the shot, that night they have a fever of a hundred and three, they go to sleep, and three months later their brain is gone,” Kennedy said. “This is a holocaust, what this is doing to our country.”

Good grief. This is insane.

By the way, here are the stakes according to WHO:

Measles is one of the leading causes of death among young children even though a safe and cost-effective vaccine is available.

In 2013, there were 145 700 measles deaths globally – about 400 deaths every day or 16 deaths every hour.

Measles vaccination resulted in a 75% drop in measles deaths between 2000 and 2013 worldwide.

In 2013, about 84% of the world’s children received one dose of measles vaccine by their first birthday through routine health services – up from 73% in 2000.

During 2000-2013, measles vaccination prevented an estimated 15.6 million deaths making measles vaccine one of the best buys in public health.

Despite this madness, the media and left-wing activists will continue to treat Junior as a respectable advocate on environmental and other issues. He is of highest liberal noble blood, don’t you see, and that excuses all.
