Once more for good measure. This coming Saturday, I will be joining about 1,000 of my newest, bestest friends on a 50-mile bike ride in the Best Buddies D.C. Challenge to raise money for Best Buddies, a terrific charity that supports people with Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. I am riding on a team sponsored by the Jerome Lejeune Foundation and C-FAM. Dr. Lejeune discovered the gene that causes Trisomy 21, and spent the rest of his life fighting to protect those afflicted with it.
