The Corner

Right Book

Just want to add my voice to those praising Rick Brookhiser’s deft, fascinating, honest, and insightful new book Right Time, Right Place. In fact, I was ahead of the curve. Rick was present and important throughout the most influential years of Bill Buckley’s life and National Review’s life (though many more are to come I’m sure). You could hardly be more of an insider than he. He brings his sharp historian’s eye to the past 30 years, but also his heart and his always eloquent pen. The reader is treated to his experience and to his growth as a writer and as a man.
