There is an oasis: Our friends at the National Review Institute (Kate O’Beirne is now president there) are throwing a dinner and putting on a bitingly funny show starring Christopher Buckley, Jonah Goldberg, and Rob Long in Colorado Springs on the night of August 25th (Monday night of the Democratic convention).
NRO, you may recall, put on a show like it in Manchester, New Hampshire, the weekend before the primary there and it met rave reviews. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll not want it to end. Especially when its end means a return to the reality that is this presidential election!
