Like David, I think the most interesting Russia-collusion questions are those touching on Paul Manafort and Roger Stone, the two figures one would guess would be involved in any scheming with Russians or Russian cutouts. But I was really struck, judging by the balance of the questions, how much of this investigation is about obstruction and about the circumstances that led to Mueller’s appointment and even the musings about getting rid of him. This is not what this probe was supposed to be about, and it’s understandable that Trump is furious over it. Mueller is running the most meta special counsel investigation ever.
