At the Spectator, Douglas Murray has written a devastating takedown of George Eaton’s attempt to “cancel” Roger Scruton. An “an anatomy of a modern hit job,” Murray calls his piece.
And that it is. If there was any lingering doubt that Eaton set Scruton up — and willfully lied about him into the bargain in an explicit attempt to get him fired — this should remove it.
