A Washington insider who was involved in Massachusetts’ recent health care reform reports that Gov. Romney is “the most competent public official I’ve seen in years.” He found him “politically shrewd and very decisive.” He also noted that there is a very talented “Irish mafia” working closely with Romney mentioning “Flaherty, Murphy, Gillespie, and Whelan.” What’s not to love about that?
