Despite speculation that he may run for president again, Mitt Romney says it’s time for someone else to seek the Republican nomination. Even after CNN’s Wolf Blitzer showed him some promising polls with him leading the GOP field, the former Massachusetts governor said he is going to pass on 2016.
“I’m absolutely convinced that there are other people who would have a better chance of becoming the nominee, and becoming the next president of the United States better than I would have,” Romney said on CNN on Wednesday. “I’ve had my turn — I gave it two good shots, didn’t win, and now it’s time for someone else to do it.”
