Romney’s Bucks County, Pa., Crowd Matches Bush’s in ’04

According to Fox News, the Secret Service let 20,000 people through the gates into tonight’s Romney rally in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Reports from Twitter put the crowd at between 25,000 and 30,000.

George W. Bush campaigned at the same venue just five days before the election in 2004, drawing a crowd of 23,000, though he went on to lose Pennsylvania to John Kerry by 2.5 percentage points.
