Ron Johnson: IRS’s Targeting Stopping Some Insurance Companies from Publicly Opposing Obamacare

Senator Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) said a “fear factor” is holding back insurance companies and customers dropped from plans from speaking out against the Obama administration and the healthcare law. He told the story of two cancer-stricken constituents of his that have been had their previous plans terminated and who are unable to get a plan on Healthcare.gov.

“They don’t want their names mentioned because they’re afraid of IRS intimidation and retribution,” Johnson said on Fox & Friends. “Americans are watching what this administration is doing and they are afraid, whether they are insurance companies or whether they’re cancer victims that have lost their insurance companies.”

“It’s a very sad commentary on this president,” he added.
