Ron Johnson ‘Very Disappointed’ in Reid

Senator Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) blasted Senate majority leader Harry Reid today for behaving irresponsibly.

Saying in an interview that he was “very disappointed” in Reid, Johnson added, “We should have held this vote within an hour or two of the House passing theirs so that we could do everything possible to prevent some government shutdown.”

Asked about Reid’s comparison of the GOP to anarchists, Johnson said, “That would be extreme language, wouldn’t it?”

He also expressed faith that even Reid wouldn’t reject a CR that included an amendment that would make staffers join Obamacare exchanges without special subsidies. “I don’t see how he could turn it down,” Johnson says, adding that the subsidies are “so grossly unfair.”
