Former Texas representative Ron Paul had some interesting thoughts on the 12th anniversary of 9/11, blaming the attacks on American foreign policy. “We’re supposed to believe that the perpetrators of 9/11 hated us for our freedom and goodness,” he wrote on Facebook. “In fact, that crime was blowback for decades was US intervention in the Middle East.”
Paul, who was known for his isolationist views as a legislator, retired from Congress in 2012.
