Royally Messed-Up Priorities

Not to be a wet blanket on all the Will and Kate booshwah, but the Media Research Center reports that “Networks Obsess Over Wedding, Barely Mention Mexico Drug Violence”: “ABC, CBS and NBC ran nearly five times as many stories about the wedding as they did about the drug violence raging just across America’s southern border (228 to 47 stories).”

This is especially timely given the new State Department travel warning expanding the areas Americans are warned to say away from to all or part of virtually all the states in the northern half of Mexico:

Due to ongoing violence and persistent security concerns, you are urged to defer non-essential travel to the states of Tamaulipas and Michoacán, and to parts of the states of Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Sinaloa, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi and Jalisco.

The next warning might be better off just listing the places where you can travel.
