He reportedly won an informal straw poll at the Koch seminar. This is a very rough indicator, but doesn’t surprise me. He has huge upside as a potential presidential candidate — he’s substantive (in fact, spent most of last year thinking through a new conservative policy agenda) and is a talented communicator.
