I’ve got a short review of The Ruins, the new novel by Scott Smith (author of A Simple Plan — the book and the screenplay), in today’s WSJ. Subscribers can read it here. The review doesn’t contain a Zoolander reference, but it does mention Ben Stiller. I give the book a thumbs up, while acknowledging that it’s not for everyone (though it’s definitely for a certain type of reader). Also, I just noticed that right now it’s the #1 ranked book on Amazon.com.
