Rush Limbaugh Announces Children’s Book

Rush Limbaugh announced Thursday on his radio show that he will be releasing a children’s book, his first book in nearly 20 years.

Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims: Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans will follow the adventures of Rush Revere, a substitute middle-school history teacher, and his talking, time-travel-capable horse, Liberty, as they go back in time and meet the Pilgrims aboard the Mayflower.

Limbaugh says he wrote the book so that kids could “learn the truth about the very early and beginning days of this country.”

Though the adventures of Rush Revere are aimed at children aged 10 to 13, Limbaugh insists that the book is for everybody. “It’s a book for parents to give and grandparents to give — to share, read together, learn together — cause it’s fun,” he explained.

The book is Limbaugh’s first since 1993’s See, I Told You So, and it may not be his last.

“Rush Revere may someday time travel back and give King George a bunch of crap for the way he treated the early colonists and ask what the hell was he thinking,” Limbaugh said.

The book is available for pre-order on Amazon and Apple’s iBooks app.
