Russell Was a Good Egg

JPod: Yeah, yeah, BR said dumb things about the Vietnam War. The previously most controversial thing he had said, back in the 1940s, was that the U.S. should use its nuclear weapons against the USSR while it was ahead. Geopolitics was not his strong suit.

Taking his life in the round, though (he was 95 when the War Crimes Tribunal got going), I still say he was a good egg. The Vietnam War wasn’t the only thing that ever happened, you know. (Sound of ten million Boomers falling off their chairs.)
