In discussing the Terri Schiavo case this morning, Tim Russert said Gov. Bush’s involvement is “unprecedented.” But Virginia Gov. James Gilmore intervened in the case of Hugh Finn during his tenure, to name just one. The state of Virginia ended up paying Mrs. Finn’s legal fees in the case.
