Did Trump Urge Russia to Hack Hillary Clinton?

This is a charge routinely lodged against Trump in the Left’s Russian hacking pieces. Yes, Trump said at a July press conference that Russia, if it’s listening, should find Hillary’s missing emails. But this clearly qualifies as a Trump statement that shouldn’t be taken seriously or literally. His line came after he, exasperatedly, told the press he had nothing to do with Russia and he included the sarcastic jab that if Russia found the emails it would be rewarded by the press. It’s certainly true that Trump has long implausibly denied Russian involvement in the hacking, but this throwaway line clearly doesn’t bear the weight that the Left wants to put on it.

In Defense of the Iraq War

Today is the 16th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, and Twitter is alive with condemnations of the conflict -- countered by precious few defenses. Yet I believed the Iraq War was just and proper in 2003, and I still believe that today. When Donald Trump condemned the war during the 2015 primary campaign and ... Read More
