The actual reports of his capture, however, indicate that he had US$750,000 in $100 bills — money that could be used to fund the insurgency. (Recall that Saddam withdrew substantial sums from the bank the day before the invasion — money that has lamost certainly been used to fund Baathist terrorism.)
