Safe Zones, Cont.

For the last many weeks, we’ve been running items on “safe zones,” or the lack of them: places where you can be free of partisan politics. A reader sent me this item, from the Washington Times. It reads,

“During the Heroes Red, White & Blue Inaugural Ball honoring the nation’s veterans, a vocalist with George Clinton and the P. Funk All-Stars held up a white towel with large block letters saying ‘[Expletive] GEORGE,’ . . .”

Watching the Democrats in Washington the last few days, I’ve thought of JFK’s (putative) putdown of Nixon: No class.
