Salon: Koch Bros’ 2016 Spending Will Destroy Planet Earth

This seems reasonable:

Life is too short to spend any part of it debunking this (or any other Salon) article, but it is worth noting simply to emphasize the utter mania that Charles and David Koch induce on the American left. No left-wing moneyman — not George Soros, not Tom Steyer, nobody — occasions in conservatives anything resembling liberals’ reflexive, foaming-at-the-mouth, anti-Koch madness. Tom Steyer can spend as much as he likes on elections; no conservative thinks it threatens the survival of the entire planet.

For more on this topic, I wrote yesterday about the vilification of the Kochs and the two political cultures it seems to suggest.

He is routinely compared to Roy Cohn on a cable-TV program that prides itself on assembling the most thoughtful and plugged-in political analysts and ... Read More
