Yesterday, in my list of fearless predictions, I said Santorum wouldn’t end up running for reelection but would rather say he was going to pursue a conservative candidacy for the presidency. Right now, considering the blithering and unbelievable idiocy of what he said about “penalizing” those who don’t want to leave their flooded homes, a conservative candidacy for dogcatcher might be a wiser course.
