Rick Santorum’s in the lead in Alabama, but not by much, according to a poll from Alabama State University. Santorum’s at 23 percent, followed by Mitt Romney (19 percent), and Newt Gingrich (14 percent). Whether Santorum can hold onto that four-point lead for the next few days leading up to the election is anyone’s guess; Gingrich especially will be competing hard, having staked his candidacy on winning Southern states.
