The Corner

Sarah and Sean

She sounds revved up to show some contrast, focusing on the McCain-Palin ticket as the tax-relieving/job-creating, no-surrender, responsible (i.e. on Iraq) ticket.

I was surprised she didn’t draw contrast on the reasons we’re in this financial mess. The campaign really needs to listen to more talk radio.

She also ran with the media-bias ball when Sean handed it to her. “I’d like to help in that arena” — holding media accountable, she said.

On Gwen Ifill, Palin said, “I’m not going to let it be a concern.” She said it will “make us work that much harder. She talked about her ticket being the “underdog,” presumably because of the media.

Don’t tell me folks won’t be motivated by this. They will. And the more the media criticizes, it feeds the campaign’s anti-media campaign. It may just be a winning strategy.
