The Corner

Sarah Palin and the Presidency

I would have never been comfortable putting money on her running until watching Greta van Susteren’s show last night. When Greta asked Palin about a possible run, Palin said: “If nobody else wanted to step up, Greta, I would offer myself up in the name of service to the public.” She went on to downplay that statement, emphasizing that “I also know that anybody — anybody — can make a huge difference in this country without a title, without an office, just being out there as an advocate for solutions that can work to get the country on the right track. And that’s where I am now.”

The exchange is toward the end of this segment.
