Sarah Palin, the Woman with Dual Loyalties Who Doesn’t Even Know about the Jewish Blood Libel?

It’s worth pointing out that as governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin had an Israeli flag in her office. Harold Meyerson wrote in September 2008:

The highlight of this afternoon’s reception of the Republican Jewish Coalition at Minneapolis’ Walker Art Center, other than the spread from Wolfgang Puck, was the revelation that in an interview filmed in Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s office well before she was being considered for the national ticket, an Israeli flag was plainly visible on her wall.

“She was being interviewed by some wildlife show about hiking up glaciers,” RJC executive director Matt Brooks said, “and you could see an Israeli flag on the wall. It tells me she has Israel in her heart and in her mind.”

Meyerson, in a post titled “Dual Loyalties?,” went on to ask:

is it possible that Palin, in her heart of hearts, believes that Alaska should leave the United States and append itself to Israel?

I called it Palin Derangement Syndrome on Twitter earlier. I’m not sure how else to explain the frenzies.
