The American Foreign Policy Council has just released a joint report with the McCormick Tribune Foundation entitled “Forging an Iran Strategy.” The report is the product of a working group that convened last August to discuss more realistic approaches to Iran. The midterm election results have made the need for clear thinking on Iran an imperative. AFPC will also be hosting a Capitol Hill conference on “Understanding the Iranian Threat” on November 15th, Room 902, Hart Senate Office Building (located on Constitution Avenue between 1st and 2nd Streets NE). The event will run from 9:00am until roughly 1:30pm. The keynote speaker is former Director of Central Intelligence the Honorable R. James Woolsey. I’ll be speaking too, along with many others.
