Saying the Unsayable

Kevin Myers is one of the world’s half-dozen best opinion journalists. I disagree with him about many things (Ian Paisley, for example) but still admire him tremendously. Translation: I’ve been milking his colmns for years. (See here for example.)

Now Myers up and says what many think quietly to themselves in the privacy of their chambers, but few dare speak of out loud. He’ll take a lot of punishment for this; but he is of course quite right.
