Associate Justice Antonin Scalia — once again — won’t be attending the State of the Union address:
The conservative-leaning jurist said that he hasn’t “gone to the State of the Union in at least 10 years, and I’m not starting tomorrow night either.”
Meanwhile, Associate Justice Samuel Alito — he of “not true” — is taking advantage of an impeccably well-timed speaking engagement in Hawaii to skip out on the president’s speech.
No word on which of the other Supremes will be in attendance.
UPDATE: Associate Justice Clarence Thomas won’t be in attendance, either.
