“That is a very personal issue and that if people want to take that into the realm of politics and make it a huge political issue, which some conservatives want to do, I think it backfires completely. These are family issues. These are personal issues and nobody wants their politician telling them whether it’s time to disconnect a parent, a brother, a sister off of life support.”
