Schneider

Andrew, I have no doubt you can’t stand the poll data. But even in your disappointment you shouldn’t be grasping at the Schneider straw about Bush registering low, which makes no sense in or out of context. I repeat: There was a jump of 25 percent, from 42 percent to 67 percent, among those who watched the speech and their favorable opinion of the policies promulgated. And a 79 percent favorability rating overall. Those are stratospheric numbers by any reckoning in the wake of a presidential address.
