The School That Will Not Die

From the Cleveland Plain Dealer:

DAYTON — Former teachers at Antioch College, which is temporarily closing amid financial problems, plan to teach in coffee shops, bookstores and parks to keep alive the spirit of the liberal arts school known for producing graduates with a passion for free thinking and social activism.

You’ve got to love describing a school that trail-blazed speech codes and took political correctness to heights that even made some vegans blush, as having a passion for “free thinking.” It sort of reminds me of the Free Speech Movement which believed in free speech for members of the movement and nobody else.
