The Corner

Sebastian Junger and The Last Patrol

I wish to make readers aware of an event tomorrow night. This especially applies to readers in Washington, D.C.

With the Heritage Foundation, National Review is hosting an event featuring Sebastian Junger — author of the famous book The Perfect Storm, and a veteran war correspondent. He has made several documentaries, including The Last Patrol, which we will screen tomorrow night. It’s about the attempt of combat veterans to adjust to life back home.

After the screening, we will have a Q&A (with Mr. Junger in the “A” chair, and me in the “Q” chair). The event will be at the Heritage Foundation, and will run from about 6 to 8:30. For more information, go here.

One more bit of news: The event, or at least some part of it, will be livestreamed here on the Corner. We’ll have details on that soon.
