Senate Will Vote Friday on ‘Cut, Cap and Balance’

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) just announced that the Senate will vote Friday on the House-passed “Cut, Cap and Balance” proposal, which he called “the worst piece of legislation in history.”

As Sen. Barbara Boxer (D., Calif.) pointed out, the bill, if enacted, would “cut and cap the hopes and dreams of our seniors, of our children [and] our middle class families.”
