Supporters of Obamacare are no longer just distancing themselves from the president’s controversial health-care law — they’re now denying it even really exists.
“There’s no such thing as Obamacare,” Senator Angus King (I., Maine) said on Fox News Sunday. “You can’t sign up for Obamacare — you’re signing up for an Anthem policy or an Aetna policy, or a WellPoint policy.”
King, who caucuses with Democrats, argued that since the plans on the exchange are designed and provided by private insurance companies, consumers aren’t enrolling in “Obamacare plans.”
