The “Huffington Post” complains that Bill Bennett gave money to John McCain and hasn’t disclosed it on CNN when analyzing the race.
I just checked in and he gave $2,300 to McCain (not the max, as HP reports) …. an amount he also gave to Romney this quarter. One of Bill’s sons worked for Giuliani until Rudy dropped out this week. He’s given free advice to all the campaigns, and has had everyone but Paul on his show (Giuliani, McCain, and Romney have been on many times). Furthermore, he’s had Huck’s Rollins, Romney’s Weber (pretty regularly), and Rudy’s Bill Simon on.
I could go on … fact is, Bennett has been Secretary Equal Time as far as serious Republican contenders go.
