My last comments on the “Los Suns” protest:

The Arizona Republic reports that it received 84 letters to the editor yesterday, 79 of them opposed to the Suns’ protest of immigration enforcement. That sentiment is also the reason for this:

By midday Wednesday, he [Suns managing general partner Robert Sarver] no longer wanted to talk about it. He also declined to answer questions about whether the decision could hurt the team financially.

“I’m not going to go there,” he said. “I don’t have any more public comments.”

He probably should have thought of that a few days ago.
