I’ve written a fair amount about the Obama cult, and I know such writing gets tiring — but let me tell you this: I was in Tampa two days ago, and saw a sign — decked out with the Obama “colors” — that said “One Nation under Obama.”
I know you can make too much of the cult — too much of the substitution of Obama for Deity. But you can make too little of it too. And some of us have spent the last year or so — since Obama really got going in the primaries — perpetually creeped out.
And some of us keep thinking of that chestnut attributed to Chesterton — you know it: the one about believing in nothing and believing in anything.
