There are lots of things you could say about the role Paul Ryan has played in Congress these past few years, but that he “sat on the sidelines” of the fiscal debates just isn’t one of them. Washington Post reporter Lori Montgomery tries anyway here, and the result is as ludicrous as you’d expect. Amazingly (if not exactly surprisingly), the Post presents this as a news article, not an opinion piece. But it’s not either one, really. It’s plain nonsense.
