Singles, Fear Not — This NR Cruise Is For You Too (Especially)

We’ve received a number of e-mails from folks who want to attend the National Review Caribbean Cruise this November 12-19, but who still won’t register because 1) they’re traveling solo, and 2) they fear they will be ignored, wall-flowered, and fifth-wheeled. WRONG! Let us assure any and all who wish to attend: This is a voyage not for couples, but for conservatives. Whether accompanied by a friend or loved one, or traveling solo, the trip will be one of great discussions of current events, and tremendous camaraderie. Dare we use a favorite liberal word? — Inclusive! To date, 80-plus people — some 20 percent of those who have registered — are single/solo, the vast majority of them “alumni” who have come on numerous prior NR voyages. They can attest to the promise made by the headline of this post. So singles, come with us in November. Enjoy the great line-up of top conservative speakers, from Mark Steyn, John Bolton, and Fred Thompson to VDH, KLO, and Jonah, to Rich, Mona, Cal, and James Q, to Bernard Lewis, Jay, and Ramesh, to . . . Kaj Relwof. Prepare to make scores of new friends. For complete information about the trip, visit www.nrcruise.com.

NR Staff comprises members of the National Review editorial and operational teams.
